I did that picture before Anthrocon, which I very much enjoyed drawing.
It does not really have a certain story behind, so feel free to think of your own background. ^^
I guess it was a little inspired by Supernatural and their angel characters. ;>

Done with Photoshop and Wacom tablet.

finally got something for the scene: he smelled the air as he let out his wings, another courtesy of his experiment. he smelled the CSI humans coming after him, rifles readied to shoot as they ran to arrest him. "my own comrades. the ones i fought beside, heck, lived beside for years." he mumbled into the wind. the bombed-out city behind them smelled of dead and rotting bodies. in there, he thought, is my family. his son's birthday was in a week, and now, he may not even be alive to recieve his present. "I am the same man i was then. but now..." he stared at his long wings. "You are not leaving, animal." one shouted from a distance "Have you already forgotten my name?" he shouted over the fields. "You know me better than this. you know none of this was me. the only reason i run is because you give me no choice." he crouched down andlaunched into the air flapping his large wings hard to get sufficient air for flight. "it's a decision i will live with..." he flew away as the humans were awed at his newly revealed ability of flight.

Oh, he's gorgeous! A wolf with wings, awesome! So, Castiel fan, ha? I know about that, my friend is mad about him and made me watch a few episodes. He's cute and funny, gotta admit. :aww:
