About gifts and art

Some things I would like to say about drawing gift art.

I totally know there are so many other people out there who deserve gift art and thank you art... But I am very sorry - it is not possible for me to draw something back for everybody, even if I would love to. So please don't be disappointed when I am drawing a picture for X but not for you (even if you may deserve it more). This is not because I am mean or because I don't think you deserve it, but because I have very limited time (and a full time job), and I can't draw every day.

There are so many people that deserve artwork... but it's just not possible, and I feel bad about it. However, I still want to draw gift art when I find the time, and I don't want to feel like I have to justify myself why I drew something (and not for somebody else). I want to enjoy drawing gift art and making people happy, and not feeling "guilty" because I had to pick 1 out of 100 people who would have deserved it as well.

Something else... If you're drawing a picture for somebody as a gift, it should be a gift. Drawing gift art and then asking if you're now getting something back afterwards isn't really the definition of "gift" (unless both agreed with a trade before of course).

Oh, and please - I do not do free requests! So please stop asking.

I have hardly enough time to do artwork for all my projects, commissions, art shows and also personal art. I will be open for commissions at some times (currently I am still closed, but I will announce it when I am open). And of course I will draw gifts when I find the time.
